We are “permit expeditors” and act as admin & agent for the permit process, we are here to take you through the process.
We get your initial file together from your supplied information, then we lodge with a separate RBS.
For your permit, the RBS (registered building surveyor) can be any RBS, your RBS or our designated RBS that we work with.
To get you started we provide a useful Initial General Checklist to get you ready ahead of time, as required initial reports may take months to get.
Once lodged with a RBS, this starts the assessment process with our/your RBS who then has your file and you deal direct.

OUR independent RBS takes approx 10 days to assess your file once all information provided subject to your info being compliant, staff availability, complexity and workload. You can use any RBS.

For the above items, it is up to the owner (or owners agent where agent is specifically engaged in writing to do this exact item) to then contact the relevant party/authority, if asked to do this specific work, and we agree to do so we quote separately.
As with all Building Permit & Town Planning Applications, the owner/client is required to provide (or pay for) all information required by our designated RBS Registered Building Surveyor (or as selected by you) to assess and process your application. We will compile the initial file to commence and lodge with him (much like a bank loan process!). (Owner to pay for soil test, plans, engineering, all reports, consents etc etc Where we agree to procure for you, extra cost & fee applies.) KINDLY NOTE whilst assessing your file the RBS – not us, will ask for more information that will cost extra based on your project as each site is different, so our fee will NOT INCLUDE THESE OR ANY REPORTS FOR ASSESSMENT by the delegated registered building surveyor from the pool of surveyors we use depending in availability.
We recommend an Initial Site Visit by our experienced planner /builder, so that obvious issues in current conditions may be seen and to make your project clear to avoid un-seen issues later.
We recommend an Initial Costed Scope of Works (CSOW) for Initial Budget purposes SO YOU HAVE A GENERAL IDEA of INITIAL COST ESTIMATE of SOME REPORTS so he can start the process.
